Biography

Hey there Future SVSU Grads! I was born, raised, and currently reside and work from my home in Brighton, Michigan. I attended Grand Valley State University and graduated with my BA in Health Communication in 2010. After graduating, I worked for the American Cancer Society before picking up my roots and heading out to Colorful Colorado. While in Denver, I worked in higher education, assisting non-traditional students with completing their undergraduate degrees. I also completed my graduate degree in Organizational Development and Leadership.  

In September of 2015 I was offered the opportunity to join the Cardinal Family.  I immediately fell in love with SVSU, the campus, and my colleagues. There is never a dull moment on campus with all the different athletic and student life events going on throughout the year.

As the Associate Director for Freshman Admissions, I am here to serve students, their families, and the community in relation to exploring options for higher education. On a given day, you may find me visiting schools within the counties of Livingston and Oakland, attending College Fairs, or just out and about in the community, creating awareness about SVSU and what we have to offer.
