Biography

Christopher Giroux earned his Ph.D. at Wayne State University, where he specialized in twentieth-century American literature. His particular focus is on drama. In addition to teaching in the English Department, he currently serves as assistant director of the SVSU Writing Center and as co-editor of the annual publication Writing@SVSU. He is also one of the editors of the community arts journal Still Life, which is an extension of his work with the Saginaw and Bay Community Writing Centers.
