Biography

In my role as Associate Provost at SVSU, I've been responsible for guiding several key offices, committees, and programs. This includes the Office of Registrar, the Office of International Programs, and the Study Abroad Office. One of the initiatives I'm particularly involved in is the Pathways for Rural Student Success program, which aims to bridge educational opportunities for rural communities. Additionally, I serve as the chair of the Curriculum and Academic Policies Committee and as co-chair of the Student Success Council. I also play an active role in SVSU's accreditation process with the Higher Learning Commission, serving as the Accreditation Liaison Officer for the Higher Learning Commission and helping to steer our institution towards an upcoming Comprehensive Evaluation. I also coordinate Program Assessment for all units within the Office of Academic and Student Affairs.  A steadfast advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, I collaborate with various teams to ensure an inclusive campus culture. My diverse experiences have deepened my understanding of the academic landscape, and I remain committed to uplifting and serving our institution's community.
